POST 13: CUTS AND TRANSITIONS

CUTS AND TRANSITIONS  I have inserted a video that I created and edited my self, using Adobe Premiere Pro.  our task was to produce a short experimental video, using your creativity to apply cuts and transitions to your video. we set off and filmed in various locations and thought of multiple ways to apply cuts and transitions in to our short video.  Transition -  A film transition is a technique used in the post-production process of film editing and video editing by which scenes or shots are combined. Most commonly this is through a normal cut to the next shot.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAH0MoAv2CI - This was the video we watched from YouTube which explains cuts and transitions in more depth and gives many different examples.

MONTAGE EXPERIMENTAL SHORT FILM Montage - Montage is a technique in film editing in which a series of short shots are edited into a sequence to condense space, time, and information Our task was to produce a montage film in a group of 4. We all had to edit our outcome individually which also involved applying sound. our outcomes are different to each others as we used different clips for different parts of our film. This is my outcome... This is an example of a short Montage film, which is called 'Wrong Day'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiIlWKkaGN0
