CAMERA SHOTS AND ANGLES Camera Shot - Camera shot is the amount of space that is seen in one shot or frame Camera angle -  The camera angle marks the specific location at which the movie camera or video camera is placed to take a shot. A scene may be shot from several camera angles simultaneously . Here is a short video that we created using various shots to show the difference between each one. Each angle has a different meaning in how we present things through film.  We got given a two sided sheet which contained all the angles and shots listed. From crane shot to zoom shot. This sheet is only one side of the sheet, which contains some really important ones.  we had to fill it out, noting the meaning and message of it and when would you see it.

POST 1: SHORT FILMS - PROFESSIONALLY MADE

SHORT FILMS: TIGHT JEANS: ( 9 mins, 2008, light comedy, destiny ekharaga) - My predicament of this short film was a group of youngsters on a holiday or going through life problems. -3 black boys sitting on a wall waiting for their friend to come out. They casually talk about how they don't suit skinny jeans.  OPERATOR: (6 mins, 2015, suspense, Caroline Bartieet) -My predicament was that there is a main character wo is operating a system. long shots and pauses. - This short film included close ups and was a very intense atmosphere. This women is a fire rescuer who helps a women and her baby from a house fire. It set in one main setting.  THE FLY: ( 6mins, 2014, dark comedy, jack Doolan) - My associations for this film was a fly on a wall. I thought it would be quite expressive using the light and the humour.  - This man gets annoyed by this fly which wouldn't escape out of the car. He tries various ways to either kill o...

POST 13: CUTS AND TRANSITIONS

CUTS AND TRANSITIONS  I have inserted a video that I created and edited my self, using Adobe Premiere Pro.  our task was to produce a short experimental video, using your creativity to apply cuts and transitions to your video. we set off and filmed in various locations and thought of multiple ways to apply cuts and transitions in to our short video.  Transition -  A film transition is a technique used in the post-production process of film editing and video editing by which scenes or shots are combined.
