PLANNING COSTUME AND MAKEUP

COSTUMES:

The main character - Wears a white long sleeved t-shirt dress, white socks (no shoes)
The t-shirt was from miss-guided which is an online website. it was £12 however I got 20% off, which took it down to roughly £9. I then had to pay delivery too.

The child - Wears a white short sleeved flowy t-shirt dress and white frilly socks. (no shoes) I brought this top in primark it only cost £5, which I thought was good price.

MAKEUP:- RESEARCH

For the main character...

I will be experimenting with a dirty look, as she is constantly running in the woods. I will be using browns, reds and black eyeshadows to create this look.

I took inspiration form a few videos on youtube to help with this look.

For the child's makeup...

I also took some inspiration from youtube as well.

this makeup look I really like, for me it's not too much which works well for my short film.

Experimentation...

I experimented with the Child's makeup, using various eyeshadows and eyeliners. i used a white based foundation and used eyeshadow to create a purply dead effect.
I also tested out this stitched mouth effect using string and eye shadow as well as lipstick. I think this in my film will work really well, as it defines the difference between the two characters.

I also tested out this scar lip which the main artist would be wearing however, I thought this wasn't necessary for the main character.

BEHIND THE SCENES...  - MAIN CHARACTER

Here was the set up for my makeup, I layed everything out to make it much easier and faster for me to do the makeup and hair.

I have included images of some products I use on her face.

HERE IS THE FINISHED MAKEUP LOOK FOR THE MAIN CHARACTER.

FOR THE SECOND CHARACTER...
Here I creates a dark makeup look with a sewed mouth. I used black and brown eyeshadows to darken the eyes.

I then used string and red lipstick and well as red and purple eyeshadow to create this bloody bruised sewed lip effect.
