Why are there short film? - Most short films are used to educate people, especially children. People who direct these short films, also sometimes get noticed more, once they win awards for their short films. Who makes them? - People who make them are usually people who aspire to be directors and get into the big film industry. How/where are they exhibited? - short films are often presented at film festivals, which is where these directors get noticed a lot of the time. a few are sold to TV or streaming channels. what's the point? - Short films are great way for film makers to start developing their skills and explore with different skills to. short films can be harder to create at times as its difficult to grab the readers attention in such a short amount of time. it's much cheaper, than longer films and it takes less time to create. THE 3 ACT : This structure is used in narrative fiction films to grab the audiences attention. the 3 act structure consists of 3 main parts, the beginning normally known as (setup) , the middle (confrontation) and the end (Resolution).  At the start of the film (inciting) , the director shows off the main characters and their relationships with each other. This is when the genre of the film and the mood is established by the audience, as we start to figure out possible outcomes of the film, and how the rising action could form. In the middle of the film (Rising action) , this is when we have already seen half of the film, and we as an audience get to see the problems and consequences caused. we get to see their struggles through life, until they find their own solution. the cycle of complications are called reversals. This short film is about Social media and the impact it has on peoples life's, especially young people. its about the importance of social media and technology in moderation. The film shows a young teenage boy who sits in his home every day posting stuff on social media and flicking through the posts throughout the day.  It's a very engaging film and make the viewers think and appreciate life more. It gives off a deep message that should everyone should know and discuss more often. I think this film has a lot of creativity and a lot of thought has gone in to it.  It's set in a house, and the viewers see the day to day life the boy is going through to survive.   The main prop used is the phone. however the prop that you see a lot in this film, is the bowl and spoon, which he eats from every night.  The costume he wears is what basic teenage boys wear, just a jumper and jeans.  The g
